Due to the absence of an effective system to support the quick and efficient preparation of fresh ingredients, Honeygrow struggled with labor inefficiencies and inconsistencies in customer service.
John Paul Thomas, Vice President of Operations Services, explained that before implementing PreciTaste, store managers relied on manual processes that were time-consuming and prone to errors in forecasting supply and demand. These inefficiencies often led to food waste, slower preparation times, and delayed service.
Attesting to the employee perspective, General Manager Ady Mendez also observed that employees lacked a structured approach to managing their tasks effectively, making it difficult for them to anticipate and efficiently execute their responsibilities in their daily prep shifts.
After implementing PreciTaste’s Prep Assistant, honeygrow streamlined its operations through AI-driven demand predictions and real-time, automated crew instructions. Thomas noted that the Prep Assistant delivered extremely accurate forecasts, offering precise prep guidance for the hours ahead.
Managers also gained the ability to oversee operations more efficiently with the touch of a button, allowing them to focus on analyzing the performance of stores and employees across multiple locations remotely.
